The title, TENET, refers to the inability to understand time. It's a film directed by Christopher Nolan, in which a spy tries to prevent World War III by stopping enemies from the future who are trying to alter the timeline. The protagonist is played by John David Washington, while the antagonist is portrayed by Kenneth Branagh. It's a spy film, conceived as a first chapter, and perhaps after its release on platforms like HBO, it could lead to a sequel.

It's Nolan's fifteenth feature film, but it hasn't been as successful at the box office as his previous theatrical releases. On first viewing, the film isn't easy to understand, but then—and that's what streaming platforms are for—it becomes more interesting when you can watch it a second time on television. TENET is a great film, with a very elaborate script, that can be appreciated multiple times and will continue to offer new elements to discover.

TENET premiered in 2020, the year the COVID-19 pandemic ravaged humanity. Despite strict restrictions, the film made its way to theaters. In normal times, a wider audience would have seen it; now, on streaming platforms, film lovers should give themselves the opportunity to enjoy this work, which in the coming years will be recognized as a cult classic.
