When we were children, we were afraid of the monster in the closet. We would call for our parents or run out with a blanket to hide under their bed. But… what if the monsters were afraid of us?, more than we fear themWhat if they just want to be our friends?.

Disney-Pixar's MONSTERS INC., a 2001 film directed by Pete Docter, director of one of Disney's more recent movies, INSIDE OUT, explores the human brain and anthropomorphizes feelings like sadness and joy, resulting in a comedic animated feature enjoyed by children and adults alike. The same is true of MONSTERS INC., where kids and adults alike have fun watching two monsters and best friends embark on the greatest adventure of their lives when a little girl from the human world manages to infiltrate the monster world and wreak havoc.
