Those movies that leave you feeling unsafe everywhere, the ones that make your heart race and you sweat, the ones that send a chill down your spine and make you scream. Those are the best, and today we bring them to you for your delight (or horror).
– PSYCHOSIS
You can't talk about horror without mentioning Mr. Alfred Hitchcock; this master of suspense cinema is the creator of countless films that once terrified audiences.
PSYCHO is one of the most representative films of horror cinema, remembered for the shower scene, where the protagonist is murdered with a knife barely halfway through the film.
Anthony Perkins' performance as Norman Bates draws applause, and the film itself is equally praised for its script, music, acting, and staging.
– THE EXORCIST

A masterpiece of horror and a benchmark in the genre, THE EXORCIST is undoubtedly one of the films that most quickened viewers' pulses. The soundtrack, the makeup, and Linda Blair's performance as Regan McNeil are unparalleled. Based on true events and featuring chilling scenes, THE EXORCIST is one of the most terrifying films in cinematic history.
How could we forget this scene?
-THE RING

Who didn't tremble with fear upon hearing the telephone ring after watching this film? Who doesn't remember that girl with long black hair who comes out of the television?.
THE RING, a remake of its Japanese namesake, was one of the most terrifying films of the last decade, in which watching a mysterious video set a date for your death in 7 days.
Its visual language and the way it keeps you on the edge of your seat for each of its 115 minutes, waiting for what comes next, is exceptional.
Dare to watch it?
– THE SHINING
Stanley Kubrick managed to give visual meaning to schizophrenia with this film, fully capturing the story of writer Stephen King on film, in such a way that it gave us goosebumps and caused us nightmares for days with scenes that, if it can be said, are some of the most shocking in horror cinema.
It is also worth highlighting the majestic performance of the great Jack Nicklson; his expressive face, his chilling voice, and his naturalness give his character that air of evil.
How can we forget that terrifying phrase, "Here's Johnny!"
– IT, THE CLOWN
Another Stephen King masterpiece brought to the screen, and the cause of many children, teenagers, and even adults' phobias of clowns, is undoubtedly one of the most memorable films for many, and for good reason. The constant fear of Pennywise the clown emerging from the sewer while you're taking a bath is terrifying.
This film marked the lives of children and young people in the 80s/90s, because being a TV movie, with not very well-known actors and a very small budget, it caused screams and palpitations like no other.
– POLTERGEIST
What could one expect from a film produced and co-written by the great Steven Spielberg? This film revolves around inexplicable events that take place in a family home, where it is immediately suspected that the Poltergeist phenomenon has occurred.
It all begins when the youngest member of the family makes contact with spirits through the television.
The film is so terrifying that it has even been said to be cursed, as it is blamed for the deaths of four of the actors who participated in the saga.
> Heather O`Rourke, Carol Anne in the saga, died at age 12 in 1988, a victim of stenosis.
> Dominique Dunne, Dana (the older sister), died after being strangled by her partner.
> Julian Beck, who played Reverend Kane in the second film, died in 1985 from stomach cancer during filming.
> Will Sampson, who played a witch doctor named Taylor in the second part, and who claimed to be a shaman in real life, died in 1987 from complications following a heart and lung transplant.
– THE CURSE

A series of four horror films by Japanese director Takashi Shimizu, which made more than one viewer scream.
And that white child with his piercing black eyes made anyone tremble; undoubtedly a terrifying film full of hair-raising scenes.
