Five years have passed since Hiccup and Toothless made Vikings and dragons live together on the Isle of Berk.

The now inseparable pair soar through the skies, discovering new territories and exploring new worlds. One of their adventures leads them to a secret cave inhabited by hundreds of new dragon species and a mysterious dragon rider. These two friends find themselves in the middle of a battle to protect the peace.

Now Hiccup and Toothless must unite to fight for what they believe in, as they realize that only together do they have the power to change the future of men and dragons alike.

Let's remember that the first installment of this animated film (2010) collected a total of $217,581,231 million dollars, placing it in 9th position among the most viewed films in the world, below Toy Story 3, which was the winner that year.
