What will 2013 bring us?

We'll tell you which film productions await us in the first half of 2013.

On February 28th, the film Stoker, directed by Park Chang-wook, known for his work on Old Boy (2003), will premiere in Hong Kong and continue its run in theaters worldwide. Starring Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, and Matthew Goode, Stoker tells the story of a young woman who, after the mysterious death of her father, uncovers secrets between her mother and uncle that will change her forever. The story unfolds as a blend of drama and horror. We're sharing the trailer while we await its release.

The legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger returns in a film where, as always, he's the hero. THE LAST STAND, directed by Jee-woon Kim, will be released on January 18, 2013. It's an action-comedy film that tells the story of Frank Martinez (Rodrigo Santoro), a Mexican drug trafficker who tries to escape to the border to avoid a U.S. court summons. What he doesn't know is that Sheriff Ray Owens (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and his inexperienced team (Johnny Knoxville, Luis Guzman, among others) will do everything in their power to stop him.

The adventure comes with OZ: THE WONDER OF FANTASY, directed by Sam Raimi, the same director of the SPIDER-MAN trilogy. The film, which will be released on March 8th in the United States, recreates the origins of the Wizard of Oz, in which a Kansas wizard unexpectedly finds himself in the land of Oz and embarks on an adventure where his greatest challenge will be discovering who is good and who is bad.

For Iron Man fans, the third installment of the Marvel Studios saga, IRON MAN 3, is here. This time, businessman Tony Stark will not only have to defeat his greatest enemy, but he will also have to prove his strength and courage while trying to save his life. The film will premiere on May 3rd in the United States and will maintain, in addition to the action, the touch of comedy that has characterized its previous installments.

WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY? On May 24th, we can enjoy another adventure of these three best friends (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis), who, for some reason, this time don't need a wedding or a bachelor party to get up to their crazy antics; they just need to get together for an entire city to explode around them. It seems that this time the action is set in Tijuana, Mexico, although scenes were also filmed in Los Angeles, California, and Las Vegas. To date, the little that can be known about this film is that "The Pack" will attempt to rescue Alan (Zach Galifianakis) from a mental institution. We await more information from official sources.
