Our guest is the director and composer Jerry Goldsmith, a Californian who is one of the most renowned and talented figures in the cinematic world. From a young age, he demonstrated great musical talent, especially with the piano. Later, at university, he met Mikl\u00f3s R\u00f3zsa, another composer who would influence him to pursue a career in film.<br \/>\nHis beginnings were in television series such as <em>The Waltons (1971)<\/em>, with which he became known and even after becoming a renowned musician in Hollywood, he continued with one of the most memorable series of the time <em>Star Trek<\/em>.<br \/>\nJerry Goldsmith&#039;s compositions are characterized by their flexible and vibrant essence, ranging from jazz to symphonic majesty. He never confined himself to a single musical style; on the contrary, his nature was restless and open to innovation.<br \/>\nAlthough he worked in different film genres throughout his professional life, it was in fantasy films where he achieved his most popular successes: <em>Planet of the Apes (1968), The Omen (1976), Star Trek (1979), Alien (1979), The Mummy (1999)<\/em>, Among others. Other notable works include <em>Chinatown (1974), Rambo (1982), Basic Instinct (1992) and Mulan (1998).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4649\" title=\"movies_jerry_goldsmith\" src=\"http:\/\/meyproducciones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pelis_jerry_goldsmith.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>",
