The film tells the adventures of a teenager who is granted extraordinary powers to fight the forces of evil. An orphan, he uses his power to share his gifts with his adopted siblings. The character&#039;s defining trait stems from his young age, because when situations become more complex, his inexperience leads him to make unexpected and humorous solutions.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/meyproducciones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/shazam-twitter.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"747\" \/>The second installment of SHAZAM! WRATH OF THE GODS has not been well received by critics. Perhaps the problem lies in the mix of different mythologies, by turning the hero&#039;s antagonists into deities from the Greek pantheon, in an era where the characters no longer have Mediterranean origins. Another issue could be that the protagonist, an inexperienced young man, doesn&#039;t take the danger posed by his enemies seriously. This detail, which years ago made him funny, doesn&#039;t resonate with audiences in 2023. It can&#039;t be denied that these are somber times, in which jokes in the face of tragedy don&#039;t amuse moviegoers. It&#039;s likely that audiences are demanding characters whose reactions reflect the grim reality of the world around them.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/meyproducciones.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/SHZM2-TRLR-0001-e1658597706663.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"2433\" height=\"1369\" \/><br \/>\nWhere a real concern arises is in the disconnect between superheroes. If Superman is on the same planet as Shazam, why don&#039;t they help each other? Why doesn&#039;t Batman support them too? What&#039;s wrong with the writers? Are they afraid that so many superheroes will solve all the world&#039;s problems, leaving nothing left to tell? Storytellers will have to come up with something to give these stories coherence, because otherwise, this narrative vein will die out. SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS is fun, but the universe created by its writer isn&#039;t coherent. https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gnaBEJEx2aY<\/p>",
